With a sword and a pistol by his side,
uh-huh, uh-huh, uh-huh.

He rode right up to Miss Mousie's door, uh-huh
He rode right up to Miss Mousie's door, uh-huh
He rode right up to Miss Mousie's door
Gave three loud raps, and a very big roar,
uh-huh, uh-huh, uh-huh

He said, "Miss Mouse, will you marry me? uh-huh
He said, "Miss Mouse, will you marry me? uh-huh
He said, "Miss Mouse, will you marry me?
And oh so happy we will be,
uh-huh, uh-huh, uh-huh.

To buy his niece a wedding gown,
uh-huh, uh-huh, uh-huh.

Where shall the wedding supper be? uh-huh
Where shall the wedding supper be? uh-huh
Where shall the wedding supper be?
Way down yonder in the hollow tree,
uh-huh, uh-huh, uh-huh.

The first to come in was a bumble bee, uh-huh
The first to come in was a bumble bee, uh-huh
The first to come in was a bumble bee
With a big bass fiddle on his knee,
uh-huh, uh-huh, uh-huh.

Next to come in was the big black snake, uh-huh
Next to come in was the big black snake, uh-huh
Next to come in was the big black snake
He gobbled down the wedding cake,
uh-huh, uh-huh, uh-huh.

Little bit of biscuit on the shelf, uh-huh
Little bit of biscuit on the shelf, uh-huh
Little bit of biscuit on the shelf
If you want anymore you can sing it yourself,
uh-huh, uh-huh, uh-huh.

You get a line and I'll get a pole, Honey

You get a line and I'll get a pole, Babe

You get a line and I'll get a pole

We'll go fishin' in the crawdad hole

Honey, baby mine.

Hurry up, babe, you slept too late, Honey

Hurry up, babe, you slept too late, Babe

Hurry up, baby, you slept too late

The crawdad man went past your gate

Honey, baby mine.

Yonder comes a man with a pack on his back, Honey

Yonder comes a man with a pack on his back, Babe

Yonder comes a man with a pack on his back

Packin' all the crawdads he can pack,

Honey, baby mine.

He fell down and he bust that sack, Honey

He fell down and he bust that sack, Babe

He fell down and he bust that sack

'Twas a sight to see the crawdads back to back

Honey, baby mine.

Sittin' on the bank 'til my feet get cold, Honey

Sittin' on the bank 'til my feet get cold, Babe

Sittin' on the bank 'til my feet get cold

Lookin' down that the crawdad hole

Honey, baby mine.

Whatcha gonna do when the lake goes dry, Honey

Whatcha gonna do when the lake goes dry, Babe

Whatcha gonna do when the lake goes dry

Sit on the bank and watch the crawdads die

Honey, baby mine.

I heard the duck say to the drake, Honey

I heard the duck say to the drake, Babe

I heard the duck say to the drake

"There ain't no crawdads in this lake"

Honey, baby mine.
